Throughout our careers, one lesson has remained constant: successful investing begins with integrity. Markets change, opportunities evolve, but disciplined decision-making, thoughtful partnerships, and a commitment to doing the right thing continue to produce exceptional results.
JKE Capital was created to bring together decades of entrepreneurial experience and apply that knowledge to new opportunities. Today, our family office continues to invest alongside outstanding entrepreneurs and trusted partners who share these values.
The principles we started with in 1991 are the same ones we act on today. That consistency is not a talking point — it is the only foundation on which genuine partnerships are built.
JKE Capital is a private family office that owns, operates, and invests in businesses, real estate, and long-term opportunities across the Pacific Northwest and Southern California. It is not a private equity firm, a fund manager, or an advisory practice. Its principals are owners and operators with more than 30 years of hands-on experience.
JKE Capital draws on more than three decades of operating experience among its principals. They have built and operated businesses, developed residential communities, and partnered with exceptional operators throughout that time. This history informs the family office’s commitment to patient, disciplined ownership rather than short-term returns or quick exits.
JKE Capital is led by its founding family and a small team of experienced operators and advisors. We are deliberately private about our organizational structure, but we are happy to discuss our team and background directly when the context warrants it. We believe in relationships over credentials.
Our primary base is Greater Seattle, Washington, where our principals have been active for more than 30 years. We also maintain a meaningful presence in Southern California, with relationships and holdings across La Jolla, Del Mar, and Newport Beach. Both markets inform how we think about capital allocation.
On a selective basis, yes. We partner with a small number of like-minded individuals and families who share our values and long-term perspective. We do not broadly market our opportunities or operate as a fund. All conversations begin privately and proceed at our own pace.
